Dr Georgina Conway



Georgina has devoted her professional career to specialize in thyroid disorders. As a Hashimoto’s sufferer herself, she knows very well the frustration of living with a thyroid condition. Her patient-centred approach is well appreciated by her patients. 


(MBCHB) Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery – (MRCGP) Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners – (DRCOG) Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists – (DFSRH) Diploma from the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health – Member of the British Thyroid Foundation – Member of the American Thyroid Association – Member of the British Thyroid Association.


Georgina has been serving Bristol community for over 15 years as a GP, working both privately and within the NHS. She is also part of the Acute Medicine team in Southmead Hospital in Bristol. She is a Doctor for the Bristol Rugby Club and a senior lecturer at the prestigious Bristol University.

Thyroid disorders, hormones, women’s health, acute medicine.

Personal Interests

Beside her successful medical career, Georgina is also a mother of 3 children. In her free time she likes being by the sea with her family and dog, playing or listening to music, watching rugby or carving netsuke.
